Glamour ruled and how at India’s first Formula One race. Bollywood stars, who attended the Indian Grand Prix called it the most memorable experience of the year.
Actor Rahul Bose said, “It was great to see all those incredible drivers. Being a sports enthusiast, all kinds of sports excite me. I was simply dazzled by the Formula One experience in Delhi.
Seconds actor Imran Khan, “It was a proud moment. The race went off well without any glitches. My favourite driver of the day was Felipe Massa. Although I love Team Ferrari, I was supporting Force India because of my friends.”

I’m happy we could score points. The performance will get better with time. I’m quite happy with whatever the team achieved. It was great to see Sachin Tendulkar cheering for Force India. It was wonderful to have his support.”
Bipasha Basu called it a well-organised event. “It was close to international standards. The volunteers were quite friendly and well-mannered. The track was awesome. I was supporting McLaren racer Jenson Button. He came second, so I was really happy for him.”
Shah Rukh Khan came in straight from Toronto to witness the first F1 race in India and loved the experience. “It was very noisy yet energising.”
And a few described the Buddha International Circuit as the best Formula One racing track in the world. Deepika Padukone said, “I have been to a couple of international venues, and I can say that the race track here is the best among all. I’m a huge fan of Adrian and was really happy with his performance”
Calling it a jhakkas experience, Anil Kapoor said, “This is fourth time I watched the F1 race. I loved the one in Singapore. As compared to the other places, it went off quite well in India. The Indian team has a long way to go. I hope we win next year.”
Narain Karthikeyan, who finished at an incredible 17th position called it an awesome race. “For me, finishing the race was really important. I give full marks to the ground. All the drivers were really happy and enjoyed the event. Although there was dust on the first two days, it settled down on the final day. I would put the India F1 race track amongst the best in the world.”
Rannvijay, who got the opportunity to be at the pit stops said, “It was great to see how the drivers refuel their cars in just four seconds. It was really an amazing sight.”
