Fans yearn for the starry life

If you’re someone who is bored of reality series and the never-ending saas-bahu sagas then a refreshing change awaits you. A new show on UTV Stars’ called Live My Life is all set to give avid fans an opportunity to live a star’s life for a day. Fans who are eagerly waiting to live the life their favourites do, tell us about stars they hope to live lives of.
“Every time I read about Shah Rukh Khan’s mansion, I dream about living life the Khan size at least once. I can’t wait to see him on the show. I’d love to dress up in costumes by the best designers and spend like a star,” says Richa Nathani, an engineering student.
For someone who has always admired actress Katrina Kaif, young professional Vidhi Arora, can’t wait to live the lady’s life for a day. “What a great opportunity! That could even be my chance to spend an evening with Salman Khan as they both are ‘great friends’,” she says. The first star to be on the show is Anushka Sharma, who will be fulfilling 21-year-old Nayab’s dream of spending a day with her.
Well if you ask Pyush Gupta, an MNC executive, says he’d love to be in Brad Pitt’s shoes for a day. “And it’s not just his lady love Angelina Jolie who’s the reason behind this choice, I would also love all the attention he gets from women. Who wouldn’t want to live his life for a day?” laughs Pyush.
And then there are those who want to spend their entire day with the legends. “If only I could live Rishi Kapoor’s or Big B’s life for a day, it’ll be a dream come true. I’ve grown up watching their movies and have heard a lot about them from my parents, so I really want to know how they handle their kids and grandchildren too,” says Meetu Sahajwani, a young professional.
Media professional Shikha Tyagi on the other hand wants to be Madhuri Dixit. “She is a star and a doting mother. She is one person I really admire for balancing her life just right. I would love to be with her, in her shoes for a day,” she says.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.

Shekhar Kapur’s Bandit Queen didn’t make the cut. Neither did Shaji Karun’s Piravi, which bagged 31 international awards.
