Delhi model shoots with Malay actress
Delhi-based model Amit Ranjan is in seventh heaven. Since the May issue of Glam, Malaysian magazine, is out he has been getting rave reviews for his photo shoot with Malaysian actress Rozita Che Wan. The Delhi boy, who is a favourite of designers in India, has even got a couple of offers to walk for Malaysian Fashion Week in November.
Amit informs that the shoot with Rozita happened in Delhi in March and the entire team of the magazine was present in the capital for it. He says, “The shoot was sponsored by designer Marc Jacobs, and we shot amidst the beautiful monuments of Delhi. The photographer Bustamam Mokhtar shot some beautiful pictures of us together in Humayun’s Tomb, Lodhi gardens, Rajpath area near Rashtrapati Bhavan and Red Fort. He captured some really romantic shots in Jacob’s latest spring-summer collection.”
Speaking about his experience with the pretty actress, Amit says that she was a very congenial person. He says, “She is a big name in Malaysia, but she had no airs about her. She was very polite and nice to work with. She even told me that she has never done modelling before but while shooting, she gave very professional shots. She told me that she saw my modelling works before she came to India. Rozita was happy to come to India and she was impressed with the country.”
