Bosco-Caesar’s bond for life
Dance master Caesar Gonsalves of the famous Bosco-Caesar choreographer duo prefers to maintain a low profile in the glitzy world of showbiz. A passionate dancer, his zeal for work comes through in every word he says. “Dance has entered my soul and is my second entity. Nothing lends my heart more joy and pleasure than shaking a leg,” he says.
But the moves are always in tandem with those of his dance partner, Bosco. “We argue like husband and wife. And that’s why we are sticking together as professional mates for so long. We are like most couples that don’t often get along well with each other, yet keep the fire alive in their amorous affairs. If we always gel with each other, then boredom creeps into our creative cauldron. So sometimes differences of opinion become necessary to open up new doors of perception,” he adds.
The two have known each other since school days and the association will continue to grow. Reminiscing about the days gone by he says, “We went to St. Joseph school in Juhu and later Mithibai College. I was the captain of the soccer team and played in defense while Bosco was a striker and a goal-kicker. We bonded over sports and then came dance that sealed the deal of comradeship forever. Dance was always a hobby for us, a burning passion profound in our hearts and we intend to keep it kindled as long as we can.”
