‘Bollywood is a constant struggle’
After enjoying the success of her blockbuster Rockstar and starring against the Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor, any actress would like to believe that she has secured a place in the film industry. However, in spite of being a stunner, Nargis Fakhri says that struggle has just began for her.
“Bollywood is a continuous struggle. No one is secure here and I believe I have just started and have a long way to go,” says Nargis at the opening of a store in the city recently where she was accompanied by Rahul Khanna and Ayushmann Khurrana.
Bollywood was never a part of the plan, and Rockstar happened by accident. The model turned actress considers herself lucky to have bagged a role in Imtiaz Ali’s film but it seems she has almost disappeared after the film. Though there have been rumours of her signing a film with Akhay Kumar, the actress chooses to stay mum on further developments.
She says, “I got many offers after Rockstar and there are two interesting offers that I am considering seriously but I will take some more time to zero in on. I cannot reveal much as it’s still very early to talk about the films.”
Nargis looked dazzling in a coral pink silk crepe sleeveless gown with embellished neckline, Nargis insisted that she doesn’t like wearing body hugging dresses too much. She adds, “I have worn many such dresses but I am more comfortable with long and a bit loose gowns.”
Nargis says that whatever she wears reflects her personality. “And I this is what style means to me. I wear only what suits me not what’s in the fashion,” says Nargis who is not obsessed with a size zero frame and believes in eating right kind of food and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
She advices, “Good habits take one far. I neither drink nor smoke and eat only healthy food. Also I go to bed by 9 and wakes up by 7 in the morning.”
