‘Acting is a powerful profession’

Sushant Singh is riding high on the success of his latest release of Shuddh Desi Romance. This is his second release after Kai Po Che and the actor couldn’t be happier about hitting the bull’s eye two times in a row.
Sushant, who is a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan, said recently, “I told Shah Rukh when I met him that I’m an actor because of him.” He continued to reveal, “When I used to watch his films earlier, I used to feel that acting as a profession is so powerful; you can convince people of something which you’re not. Or maybe it’s so larger than life and you can hide behind all these interesting and exciting characters. But I didn’t take acting seriously then.”
When he did, he managed to make all the right moves. He’s one of the few actors who made it big in both films and TV, much like his idol SRK. Way to go, Sushant!
