‘We knew about Mahi’s weddding’

Dressed in a pair of jeans and a striped shirt, the hottest flavour of namma RCB team was unwinding at the Radio One event at Opus on Tuesday evening. Life after IPL 3 has been quite difficult for Robin Uthappa, who has undergone two surgeries. “One was a shoulder surgery and the other one was a finger reconstruction. I even missed out on playing for India, but I’m on the road to recovery and should hopefully play for the Champions League in South Africa. I also want to come back to the Indian side — I believe in have the ability to play there.”
Coming to his interests, Robin is one helluva Bollywood music buff. “I also like contemporary English, country, hip-hop except heavy metal!” adds the AR Rahman fan.
So did he know about Mahi’s wedding? “We all knew it was on the cards, but he kept it close to his heart and came out with it only in the end,” he says.
As for his ideal girl, he says, “She should be simple, share the same mindset as me and believe in little things in life like family dinners and spending time with friends. She should understand me for what I am and not think about what the world thinks of me.”
All those girls who are swooning over this man, now you know how to impress this bisi bisi Uthappa!
