Pvt colleges PG entrance exams invalid

The Justice Muhammed panel has warned the Kerala private medical college managements association that its proposed entrance exam for PG/diploma admissions has no legal validity. The panel said the exam was being conducted without the committee’s permission.

It said the same rule was applicable to the exam of the Kerala Christian professional college managements federation (KCPCMF). too.

It sought the explanation of the KPMCMA for issuing the notification for the national level entrance exam. The notification issued on March 31had stated that the applications should be filed online before April
10.

The panel said both the KPMCMA and KCPCMF failed to submit their prospectuses for 2012-13. According to Act-19, passed by the Kerala assembly and the verdicts of the Supreme Court, the managements running MBBS/BDS/MDS and other self-financing courses were bound to
