The Nadakkavu police arrested a native of Nadapuram, Kallullathil Veettil Kunhabdulla, on Friday for issuing a death threat to chief minister Oommen Chandy over telephone.
The 27-year-old youth made calls to newspaper offices on Thursday and said Chandy would be killed within ten days.
Nadapuram police raided his home and made the arrest.
The cyber cell of the police identified the person on Thursday itself from the address it collected from the service provider.
