The top five from the comic world

Three things dominate the top comic charts this season: Crossovers, first issues, and The Walking Dead. The Periodicals list is topped by Avengers #1 and X-Men #1, which proves definitely that you can never underestimate the public’s hunger for No. 1 of anything. The rest of the chart is dominated by the

Big Two’s crossover events: DC’s Blackest Night (a.k.a. Attack of the Beloved Dead Characters) and Marvel’s Siege (a.k.a. Let’s Do a Big Thor Crossover). The only entry in the graphic novel top 10 that didn’t have a movie/TV adaptation in 2010 was Superman: Earth. Yes you guessed it right: Hoodies are the new zombies. Here’s the list of top five of the season.
