P.S. I Love You: A film based on Cecelia Ahern’s novel, this is a must watch with that special one. Holly and Gerry are a married couple who live in Manhattan. They fight occasionally and Gerry suddenly dies of brain tumor. “Holly begins to realise how much she misses Gerry and her story of coping with her loss is amazing,” says student Vidya M.

Love Story: On top of the charts to add to the mush you share with your loved one over a quiet evening is Love Story. A novel by Erich Segal, made into a film by Arthur Hiller. The film talks about Oliver Barrett IV who comes from a wealthy family and falls in love with Jennifer Cavelleri, a working class quick-witted Radcliffe University girl against his father’s wish. Will his dad accept Jennifer?

Ladybugs: Sidney J. Furies’ romcom stars Rodney Dangerfield, Jackee Harry and Jonathon Brandis. Rodney, a businessman takes over a girls’ soccer team finds Bess to be his eye candy on the team. Will this change their relationship?

This film narrates a play set in 1899 narrated by the protagonist, an English writer named Christian who is surrounded by alcohol and is depressed. “The play titled ‘Spectacular Spectacular’ has Satine, a courtesan in the lead role who gets a favour out of Christian and this romantic saga has a tragic end to it,” narrates film buff Nikita R.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s: It’s loosely based on the novel with the same name. This is another romantic flick you must check out. The movie shows Holly Golightly, a gold digger who meets Paul Varjak, a new tenant. Will Paul change Holly’s attitude or will he fall in love with the real character?
