Leaders for the future
The Maersk Line Graduate Programme is a highly acclaimed industry course and is evolved to meet the demands of the global liner shipping industry. A departure from the routine MBA, the MLGP follows a two-year timeline that begins with seminar sessions in Copenhagen, Denmark, shifts to the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad and then, back to Copenhagen. There are also two job rotations that are a part of the course, and high performers are assigned to overseas projects for a duration of two to three years after the programme ends.
The application process involves logging on to the Maersk website (www.maersk.com.) and applying for the MLGP programme. After you receive a confirmation, you have to wait for the HR department to revert to you with relevant assessment tests and then, a personal interview. The process takes between four and six weeks.
However, do write to INDHRDJOB@maersk.com to find out about openings for Indian recruits to the MLGP in that particular year. Candidates with work experience are usually preferred, so make sure you capitalise on all your internship/project and work experience while applying for the programme. Also, do highlight any qualities that you think set you apart from the crowd.
