Video shows Israeli soldier dancing around prisoner

Oct. 5: In yet another embarrassment for the Israeli Army, a new video that surfaced on YouTube shows one of its soldiers dancing around a blindfolded and handcuffed Palestinian woman, close on the heels of global outrage over a trooper posting on Facebook photos of her smiling next to bound Palestinian prisoners.

Israel’s Channel 10 caught hold of the clip on the Internet in which the handcuffed and blindfolded woman is leaning on a wall, while a soldier wearing glasses performs belly dancing moves around her with his comrades cheering him on and videotaping the “show.”

The Israeli defence force’s internal investigation department has ordered an immediate probe into the matter.

“The IDF condemns this kind of activity, as shown in the video clips, and has worked and is working to eradicate such activity,” the Israeli Army said.
