US threatened to ‘kick out’ top Pak envoy?

The US reportedly threatened to “kick out” Pakistan’s top envoy there over the issue of diplomat Raymond Davis.
“The US has threatened to sever all ties if Davis is not released,” an official said. However, the US embassy and Pakistan’s ambassador in Washington, Hussain Haqqani, denied the report.
The Lahore police, meanwhile, charged Davis with “cold-blooded” murder, ignoring pressure from Washington.
