Indian-American South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has said the United States can't afford to have Barack Obama as the president for another four years.

"It's Mitt Romney, the former Governor of Massachusetts, who is the right man to end the chaos in Washington," Haley said in a statement last night at the conclusion of the Republican presidential debate in South Carolina.

Haley, who has endorsed Romney, was present at the debate venue in support of the former Massachusetts Governor.

"Tonight, Mitt Romney once again displayed his vision, leadership, and grace under fire. He showed why he is without question the right man to end the chaos in Washington, D.C. and put America back to work," Haley said.

"Neither our state nor our nation can afford four more years of President Obama, nor it is critical that we nominate someone with Mitt Romney's history of results. We need a president who has a record of not just talk, but of actually getting things done, and Governor Romney is that man," she said.

Earlier in the day, Haley welcomed the decision of Jon Huntsman, the former Governor of Utah, to withdraw from presidential race and support Romney.

Haley said she 'appreciated' Huntsman's decision to drop out of the Republican presidential race, which is expected to generate more support for Romney.

Addressing a tea party convention during the day, Haley was highly critical of Obama.

"At the end of the day when we all come together, I cannot continue to lead South Carolina with President Obama in office. I can’t," she said.

"President Obama is the hardest part about my job and he has to go," Haley said.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
