UK royal family joins FB

London, Nov. 7: Britain’s royal family has jumped the Facebook bandwagon after a successful launch on Twitter last year.

The Facebook account is not under the name of Queen Elizabeth II, but under the moniker, The British Monarchy. The account will not be a personal profile page for the 84-year-old queen, the Buckingham Palace said. Users on the networking website can add her as a ‘friend’ but will not be able to virtually ‘poke’ her.
