‘Talking dog’ most-watched YouTube video of 2011
YouTube has revealed the 10 most watched videos in the UK during 2011, with ‘Ultimate Dog Tease’ topping the list.
The video showing a pet dog moving its mouth in time to its owner’s voice and ‘complaining’ about what it wants to eat has been watched more than 70 million times, the Telegraph reported.
It is because of these user-generated clips that YouTube has become so very popular amongst the people, unlike the professionally produced content its parent company Google is trying to make the platform synonymous with nowadays.
The second most watched video in the UK during 2011 has been the T-Mobile Royal Wedding spoof, which recreated the high profile ceremony with a cast of look-alikes who break out into a series of outlandish dance routines.
The advertisement for the mobile service also topped the most watched YouTube advertisement of the year in the UK.
