St. Petersburg makes three-tonne Easter cake
The people of Russia's St. Petersburg city on Sunday celebrated Easter by serving a three-tonne Easter cake known as ‘kulich’.
Kulich is an important part of Russian Easter dinner, along with coloured eggs and paskha - cottage cheese blended with nuts and candied fruits.
This kulich was the world's largest. It measured 10 by 20 meters and weighs three metric tons, organisers said.
