‘Pregnant’ Duchess Kate doll to hit markets soon

The makers of the best-selling dolls of Kate are busy working on a pregnant version of the Duchess of Cambridge.

Chelsea-based company Arklu, who created dolls of the 29-year-old Duchess on her engagement, pictured, and wedding days, are making the doll in the hope that there will be news of a baby in the New Year.

“We’ve had a lot of requests for a pregnant Kate doll from the US,” the Daily Mail quoted Lucie Follett of Arklu as saying.

“We’ve also had many requests for a Pippa doll,” Follett added.

Proceeds from sales of the dolls have so far raised 16,000 pounds for RNLI and Help For Heroes, two of William and Kate’s favourite charities.
