PIO stalks Facebook founder
California, Feb. 8: Online stalking is nothing new in Facebook, but now the founder of the social networking site, Mr Mark Zuckerberg, is himself being stalked in real life by a person of Indian origin.
Pradeep Manukonda, 31, of California had turned up at the home of Mr Zuckerberg and the offices of Facebook in Palo Alto, California.
He had written a letter to Mr Zuckerberg and his sister, Ms Randi, and even sent him flowers.
On Monday, Mr Zuckerberg obtained a restraining order against Manukonda, who has been ordered to stay at least 300 yards away from Mr Zuckerberg, his sister and his girlfriend, Ms Priscilla Chan, the TMZ website said
The Facebook founder claimed that Manukonda tried to “follow, surveil and contact Mr Zuckerberg using language threatening his personal safety.”
Facebook security finally “intercepted” Manukonda at Mr Zuckerberg’s Palo Alto, California, home on January 24 “just as he (Mark) was about to walk up the front steps,” the court papers said. He was warned by local police and let off.
