Pak gets 3 more F-16 fighter jets

Three F-16 Block 52 C fighter jets would be inducted in the Pakistan Air Force fleet on Saturday, officials said.
Defence authorities on Friday said that in the first phase US would hand over three F-16 Block C fighter jets to Pakistan that would be equipped with latest weapons and technology and a formal handing over ceremony in this regard would be held.
Pakistani pilots would fly the three F-16 fighter jets from America. In the second phase five F-16 Block 52 C fighter jets would be handed over to Pakistan in one-and-a-half month. While overall a total of 18 fighter jets would be inducted in the PAF fleet by this year end. The officials said that talks are on with US authorities for another 14 F16 Block 52 C jets and “we are optimistic that US would provide us with these jets”.
After the induction of 18 F-16 Block C Jets the PAF fleet of F-16s would swell to 63. The officials said that the fighter jets are equipped with modern technology and eight Pakistani pilots have got special training from the United States to fly these planes.

Deserted Indian embassy portal becomes porn site
Dubai, June 25: A Web portal which once belonged to the Indian embassy in Ba-hrain has now turned into a porn site with a local telecom services provider blaming the mission for the lapse.
The teen porn website, located at www.Indianembassy-bah.com, was used by the Indian embassy before it moved to www.Indianembassybahrain.com in 2009. “The embassy should not have let the name go and should have secured it, even if they had to change the administrator,” said an official of Batelco, the local telecom services provider. He said Batelco cannot help, since it was only responsible for registering domain na-mes ending in .Bh. —PTI
