Oz man proposes to girlfriend with ‘will you marry me’ tattoo on wrist
A man from Brisbane popped the question to his girlfriend by getting ‘will you marry me’ tattooed on his wrists.
“I really wanted to do something different, or something special,” Brisbane Times quoted Glen Robinson as saying.
Fortunately, Glen and his girlfriend Michelle Bate, both 34, had already agreed to marry and had chosen an engagement ring.
The evening he got the tattoo, Glen bent on one knee in the couple’s living room with a ring in his open palms.
Though Michelle said ‘yes’, she said that she didnt know what to think about the tattoo.
Michelle, however, said she prefers that her name was not included in the tattoo.
“That would not have gone over well,” she said.
As it is, the tattoo is a permanent mark of a treasured moment in their lives, Michelle said.
“It’s very him,” she said.
“I see his tattoos as a tapestry of his life ... and now I’m part of that,” she added.
