NRI girl raped in Dubai

Dubai, Jan. 17: A school bus driver and two conductors in Dubai have been arrested after they were accused of raping a four-year-old girl of Indian origin while dropping her home.

The kindergarten pupil at the Modern High School was allegedly raped on November 11, but her parents only informed the police on January 9 after noticing huge behavioural changes in her. “She is scared at night and doesn’t want to sleep. Our daughter never told us what happened. The stains on her clothes made me suspicious,” Gulf News quoted the mother as saying. “She only confided in us after we spoke to her based on medical reports that confirmed our doubts. Our family was shattered when we found out,” she stated.
