Love me, love my pony too? No way!
An Irish traveller had to be turned away from Wrexham central station in Wales after he tried to buy tickets for himself and his darling pony.
The ludicrous scene, which was caught on CCTV, ended in Joe Pannell being sent on his way by the conductor after taking the horse on to the platform, the Daily Express reported.
Earlier, he had also attempted to take the animal to see a doctor in an accident and emergency department but was ordered out. On Thursday, a CCTV picture emerged of the pair in a pub, where Pannell was told it was not pub's policy to serve horses.
Lorna McCarroll, 33, who manages another pub, confronted him and led the pony out into the street. She said: "Lots of people were stopping to pet him."
Animal welfare officers and the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) were Thursday night trying to track down Pannell.
