Helicopter crash kills seven in Russia
A Russian helicopter caught fire and crashed in Siberia on Thursday killing seven people and injuring three, investigators said in a statement.
The MI-8 helicopter caught fire as it approached the landing strip in the city of Tary in Russia's Siberian region of Omsk, said the statement from an investigative committee of prosecutors .
All seven passengers on board were killed while the three crew members were taken to hospital with various injuries.
It was not immediately clear what caused the accident and an investigation was now under way, the statement said.
