'Guardian angels' to protect sleeping US soldiers in Afghanistan
US military commanders in Afghanistan are now assigning 'guardian angels' to protect even sleeping American troops.
The move is a plan to prevent rogue attacks on US servicemen from their Afghan counterparts. Two American military advisors were shot point blank by an Afghan soldier soon after the Quran burning incident.
The Taliban are pressing on with their campaign using 'innovating' new measures. Last week, soldiers captured terror operatives dressed in women's clothing in Mehterlam, Laghman province, east of Kabul.
US commanders believe this is just part of the new tactics the Taliban are employing to gain access into coalition military bases.
