Firefighters free thief stuck in bin
Firefighters in Britain had to come to the rescue of a thief who clambered into a bin, but got stuck inside. He was freed and promptly arrested.
The 28-year-old man had got into a clothes recycling bin with the help of an accomplice in Bradley Stoke, near Bristol, The Sun reported.
CCTV showed that as soon as security staff reached there, the accomplice ran away. The thief got stuck and he had to wait for firefighters to cut the top off the bin before he could step out.
He was then arrested.
"One man had climbed into the bins and was seen to remove items and hand it to the man outside. When they were approached, one man ran off and one remained inside," a police statement said.
