Boy, 10, shoots teacher in Brazil before killing self

A 10-year-old student in Brazil shot at his teacher in front of classmates before turning the gun on himself.

David Nogueira blasted Rosileide Queiros de Oliveira, 38, twice with his policeman father's .38 revolver in front of 25 horrified youngsters. As the teacher lay bleeding on the floor, David ran out of the classroom into the hallway and shot himself in the head, the Daily Mail reported.

The bloodbath took place at a school in the Brazil's largest city Sao Paulo.

The teacher was rushed to a hospital by helicopter where she is recovering from her injuries. But she has a broken hip and kneecap.

David was also taken to hospital. But he died shortly afterwards.

Police are investigating the motives behind the crime.
