Armed ‘Batman’ nabbed in US

'Batman' is once again on the hit list but this time not for the film, rather for a Michigan man who was caught trespassing with dangerous weapons on a roof, wearing the Caped Crusader's costume.

The 31-year-old, wanna-be superhero, whose name has not been released, was also in possession of several "dangerous weapons" like “a baton type striking weapon, a can of chemical irritant spray, and a pair of lead-lined gloves”, according to the Petoskey Department of Public Safety.

Public safety officers and state police apprehended ‘Batman’ after receiving a call that someone was dangling from the roof of a tall building along East Mitchell St in Petoskey.

Authorities said that they went up to the roof where they found the man dressed as the ‘Dark Knight’.

"They observed a male subject, dressed in a Batman costume, hanging [by his hands] off the western wall of the building," The Daily Telegraph quoted the Department as saying.
