300 Chinese kids ill after having school lunch
More than 300 children fell ill after eating lunch at a school in southwest China's Yunnan province, authorities said on Tuesday.
As many as 337 children of Zhenxiong county's Dingla Primary School were admitted to hospital on Monday, with dozens vomiting and suffering from diarrhoea and fever, reported Xinhua.
By Tuesday morning, 247 were discharged from the hospital.
Authorities have ordered the school to suspend serving lunch, and an investigation into suspected food poisoning is underway.
In March, about 70 children showed symptoms of food poisoning after having breakfast at a school in southwest China's Guizhou province.
