3 dead in New Mexico office shooting
A gunman killed two people before turning the gun on himself at a business office where he used to work in Albuquerque, New Mexico, police have said.
The shooting took place around 9:30 am (1530 GMT) at fibreoptics and solar power group Emcore Corporation. Police initially said six people were killed, before revising the toll to three, saying the error was due to miscommunication.
"A male individual entered the building, firing multiple shots at the employees," Albuquerque police department spokeswoman, Ms Nadine Hamby, told AFP.
"It was domestic violence-related, that's what we believe."
Local media said one of the victims was believed to have been the shooter's wife or girlfriend.
"We have completely cleared the building," Hamby said.
She said two people were found dead in the building, including the shooter. Another died in hospital, two others were in critical condition and another two were in "stable" condition.
