Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday made it clear to delegations of the YSRC and the APNGOs that the decision on Telangana is irrevocable and final.

He assured the delegations that the government will constitute a committee consisting of Union ministers to look into all the concerns affecting the people of the Seemandhra region.
The YSRC, led by its honorary president Y.S. Vijayalakshmi, and the APNGO leaders under the leadership of president Ashok babu met the PM separately in Delhi.
YSRC seeks status quo on division
YSR Congress leaders submitted a four-page letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh urging him to defer the decision on division of the state until a satisfactory solution could be found to all the regions and people are satisfied that they have got justice.
They demanded that status quo be maintained in case justice cannot be done to both the regions.
They said that the Congress Working Committee had superseded its earlier decision of 2001 to resolve demands from across the country for separate statehood by constituting a second States Reorganisation Committee, and had announced its decision to bifurcate the state on July 30, 2013.
It has thus acceded to the demand for creation of only Telangana state while ignoring other demands such as those for Gorkhaland, Bodoland, Vidharbha, Harith Pradesh and so on.
Many outstanding issues such as water sharing, revenue sharing and the future of Hyderabad city and the difficulties in creating a new capital have not been discussed, the YSR Congress delegation pointed out. It accused the Congress of acceding to the Telangana demand to get 10-15 seats in Parliament from Telangana.
Though 16 YSRC MLAs had resigned because of this, the government still went ahead with the bifurcation in a highly arbitrary manner without providing solutions for any of the aforesaid issues, the YSRC said in its letter.
The YSRC delegation also met President Pranab Mukherjee. The APNGOs delegation met the PM along with Union minister Kavuri Sambasiva Rao. They apprised him of the ongoing agitation in the 13 districts of Seemandhra region. They said that in Seemandhra, the administration has not just come to a standstill, but has disrupted the normal life of the people.
box PM remembered YS President enquired about Jagan YSR Congress honorary president Y.S. Vijayalakshmi told the media after the meeting with the Prime Minister, that Singh had said that the present situation would not have arisen if her husband and the late chief minister, Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, had been alive.
She said that the Prime Minister assured them that a committee of Union ministers would be constituted to look into the matter of the state’s bifurcation.
She said President Pranab Mukherjee had inquired about the health of the party’s incarcerated president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
