For women, Delhi is still unsafe: SC

Observing society was “failing to treat women with dignity, equality and respect”, the Supreme Court said Friday the nation’s capital remained unsafe for women and steps must be taken to check crimes against them.

“There is no safety in the city and it has to come back... It (rape and molestation incidents) are being repeated,” a bench of Justices K.S. Radhakrishnan and Dipak Misra said, referring to the incident in which a 23-year-old wo-man was gangraped.
