Woman burnt alive by husband, neighbours

A 32-year-old woman was allegedly burnt alive by her husband and neighbours after she objected to his illicit relationship with another woman in Ghaziabad district, police said here on Wednesday.

Rekha was set afire by her husband Jaikishan alias Babloo and neighbours Kuberdutt Sharma and Anita in Bahadurgarh area last night, Inspector General of Police (law and order) A P Maheshwari said.

He said on the basis of an FIR lodged by Rekha's father Niranjan Lal, Kuberdutt and Anita have been arrested.

Prima facie it has been revealed that Babloo was having an affair with Anita which led to the incident, the IG said.
