Witches get offensive beer logo removed
Today everyone demands equal rights, so how can you expect the Wiccans to be any different.
The world's Wiccan community has taken great offense at the Witch’s Wit ale logo featuring a witch burning at the stake. A
well-known witch in the US, Vicki Noble, was very upset when she spotted this ale at a store and shot off an email to all her fellow witches asking them to jon her protest against the company.
Here’s a part of her email which appeared in the New York Times, 'can you imagine them showing a black person being lynched or a Jewish person going to the oven? Such images are simply not tolerated in our society anymore (thank the Goddess) and this one should not be, either'.
Instead of casting a spell like how they would have done in the old days, the witches bombarded the company with letters of protest and got the brewery’s founder to change the label.
