Uttarakhand sends Tamil Nadu missing list

Chennai: Even as the agonizing wait for the grief stricken kin of 14 persons who had gone missing from Uttarakhand last month continues, chief secretary Subhash Kumar has sent a list of 13 persons to his counterpart in Tamil Nadu seeking her confirmation whether or not they are from Tamil Nadu, according to sources.
However, the communication is said to have had only 13 names while the state official figure stood at 14 including that of a professor from Nagappattinam who had gone to Dehradun to participate in a seminar, while two from Villupuram district were washedaway.
