Two suspected rebels held
In what may be a major breakthrough, security for-ces, acting on a tip-off, arre-sted two alleged hardcore rebels of Manipur’s PLA who were on the way to Naxal camps to provide training in communication equipment.
The two cadres of the People Liberation Army, identified as Arun, 30, and Dilip, 40, were arrested from south Delhi’s Lodhi Colony Sunday night. They were produced in a city court on Monday and remanded to 10 days’ police custody. The duo belong to Jharkhand. The police seized two laptops and incriminating documents from their possession. On Tuesday, a suspected Maoist conduit was arrested in Delhi on suspicion of receiving protection money from a business group on behalf of the rebels.
