Two pilgrims die in stampede
Two pilgrims were killed in a stampede on Sunday near Brahmakund hot water spring at Rajgir in Bihar's Nalanda district, police said.
The stampede broke out when pilgrims rushed to take bath at the holy Brahmakund in the hot water spring during the ongoing Malmas festival at Rajgir, they said.
One of the deceased was identified as Rudra Narayan Sav (70), a native of Ithari village under Marauna police station area in Supaul district.
The barricade erected to regulate the movement of pilgrims was also damaged in the stampede, they said.
