Trinamul MP faces ‘non-bailable’ FIR

In what may add to the embarrassment of chief minister Mamata Banerjee, non-bailable charges have been filed against Trinamul Congress Rajya Sabha MP Kunal Ghosh. A group of 21 employees of Channel 10, which Mr Ghosh headed as CEO, filed an FIR against him at the Park Street police station late Thursday night.

They alleged they had not got their salaries for months, and claimed their provident fund contributions were not deposited by the company. This is the first time a direct complaint has surfaced against Mr Ghosh, who has got the open support of Ms Banerjee over the Saradha scam.
