TN committee submits report

The four-member expert committee appointed by the Tamil Nadu government to look into the safety aspects of the Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant submitted its report to chief minister J. Jayalalithaa on Tuesday.

The team comprising former Atomic Energy Commission chairman M.R. Srinivasan, Prof. S. Iniyan, Prof. Arivoli and retired IAS officer L.N. Vijayaraghavan appears to have given a go-ahead to the plant in its report.
