Timers made in Gujarat
Investigations into the Bodh Gaya serial blasts have revealed that the timers used to trigger explosions in the temple town were brought from a shop in Guwahati and were manufactured in Gujarat.
Hinting at a possible Assam link to the attacks, NIA, which is probing the July 7 blasts has found that clocks attached with the unexploded bombs were manufactured in a plant in Rajkot, Gujarat. The entire lot of the clocks was sent to Guwahati and a few of the clocks were bought from a shop there by a buyer, the sources said.
Notably, the NIA teams in Guwahati have also got leads suggesting that the blast conspiracy may have been hatched way back in September 2012. The sleuths have found that the shopkeeper in Guwahati had sold the particular lot by September 2012.
