Three NDFB militants arrested
Three hardcore NDFB militants, suspected to be involved in the murder of eight Arunachal Pradesh government employees, were on Wednesday arrested by the police in East Kameng district bordering Assam.
The rebels are suspected to be involved in the murder of eight Arunachal government employees at Daimara near Seijosa in East Kameng district on November 9.
Identified as Birbal Islari, Manshing Basumatary and Tasam Tasa, the arrested have been handed over to the police in Assam's Sonitpur district.
An AK-56 rifle, two pistols and 100 rounds of live ammunition were recovered from their possession.
