Terror suspect slips via Cochin International Airport
The sudden disappearance of the several lookout circular (LOC) entries from the central server at the Suspect Index Cell has left the officials aghast and investigating agencies clueless.
Several accused persons, including Muslim extremists, managed to escape through various airports in the country through such manipulations, it is believed.
Shockingly, extremists managed to sneak into the Central Server at (Suspect Index Cell) New Delhi to evade immigration clearance at various airports in the country.
As per the documents in the possession of Deccan Chronicle, the intelligence wing of the Cochin International Airport found that Thadiyanta-vide Shameem, a terror accused and close aide of LeT commander Thadiyanatavide Naseer, escaped through CIAL on December 23 last in flight number IX411.
Shameem managed to evade immigration clearance at the Cochin International Airport as his LOC number 2011111042 was missing in the immigration server.
The central server on December 20 had asked the CIAL immigration wing to switch on the server at CIAL for six hours to update the data.
During the data pushing process several LOCs, which were already entered were left out and
a new data list was entered.
