Teacher murdered, students and coaching operators protest

A teacher of a coaching institute here was gunned down by miscreants and led to local students and private coaching operators going on a rampage on Thursday pressing for immediate arrest of the culprits.

Three motor cycle borne assailants fired on and killed the teacher near Nawada police station in the district on Wednesday, police said.

Protesting against it students and coaching operators ransacked shops and set fire to garbage pots of the municipal corporation.

They also took out a procession demanding adequate security to teachers, besides arrest of the culprits.
