Students appear for inter exam

Hyderabad: Students in Hyderabad heaved a sigh of relief after many emerged from exam centres unaffected by the ongoing Telangana agitation.

Measures were put in place by police and other law enforcement systems to ensure smooth running of the crucial Intermediate examination which was threatened by the crippling Million march today.

"I was only thinking of finishing the paper quickly and rush home as the time of the Million March was fast approaching," said city student Syed Azharuddin, voicing the concerns of thousands like him who had turned up for the test

The Board of Intermediate Examinations had held the examination according to the schedule it had already announced.
