Student arrested for possessing pistols

A student from Bihar was arrested on Thursday after police seized two country made pistols from his rented accommodation in the city outskirts.

A private engineering college student, he was staying at Neelangarai here, Joint Commissioner (South) K.P. Shanmuga Rajeswaran said.

Other students from Bihar were also staying with him, police said.
