Ranchi, May 6: In an amazing U-turn from his ambition-driven posturing, Jharkhand CM Shibu Soren’s son Hemant Soren, JMM legislature party leader, on Thursday resigned from the state Assembly to vacate his seat for Soren Senior to contest a byelection and
thus continue to lead his shaky coalition government.
Later, both father and son, accompanied by six JMM legislators and two alliance leaders, flew from Ranchi to New Delhi in a chartered aircraft reportedly sent by the BJP.
