Sonia is fine, goes home from AIIMS

Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who fell ill in Parliament late Monday evening and was admitted to AIIMS, returned home early Tuesday morning after being discharged from the hospital. Many top leaders, including Gujarat CM Narendra Modi, wished her a speedy recovery.

AICC general secretary Janardhan Dwivedi said Mrs Gandhi was “all right, and her medical checkup had been completed”. Health minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said she “had some medicines for common cold and headache, (after which) she had some uneasiness... (Now) she is perfectly fine and has gone home”.
