Snow games to promote winter sport in Gulmarg

Gulmarg, the premier ski-resort of South Asia, witnessed a series of snow games on Monday coinciding with the World Snow Day, celebrated to motivate people from non-snow areas to turn to snow areas and promote winter sports.

Indian Institute of Skiing and Mountaineering (IISM), Gulmarg, with the help of Jammu and Kashmir tourism and High Altitude Warfare School (HAWS) of the Army organized different fun activities over the snow-covered slopes of Gulmarg on the occasion. The main motivator was Col. J.S. Dhillon, principal, IISM.
