Smaller states issue to echo in U.P. polls
Various organisations seeking creation of smaller states will come together to raise their voice during the Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.
These organisations that have come together under the umbrella of National Federation for New States (NFNS), will campaign for their cause in Uttar Pradesh where three of their members are pressing for creation of Bundelkhand, Purvanchal and Harit Pradesh.
“We are not going to launch a planned battle for various states and the UP Assembly polls will be our first battleground. This will be a semi-final battle and the final battle will be fought in the 2014 general elections,” said actor-turned-politician Raja Bundela who heads the Bundelkhand Congress.
